Updating from 7.13 to 8.5

william burns October 31, 2019

I have Jira 7.13 loaded on my desktop (Less than 10 Users license). I just use it to test scenarios. Would it be easier just to delete this version and download 8.5 and bring it up? I don't need anything from the old version except my login / admin credentials which I imagine I can replicate.

@william burnsYes, If you don't want anything from old you can do either uninstall and install to bring latest version or You can also install 8.5 in different folder with different ports to bring the Jira up. You can have multiple instances in one machine with different ports.

Hope this helps.
