what are the steps to reallocate Jira service Management DC from one host to another host

what are the steps to reallocate Jira service Management DC from one host to another host?

Our Jira Service Management data center instance version 4.19.0 is hosted in the cloud environment of some vendors. Now we are planning to host it on another vendor's cloud what are the steps involved to do so ? as I am new to Jira admin

It's essentially "install a new system, migrate your data over", see https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-jira-applications-to-another-server-938846962.html

But in most cases, you should talk to your new managed service provider.   They will need to get a new service up and running, and as part of that, they'll probably have a preferred migration route.  If they're Atlassian focussed MS providers, then it's likely they'll be able to do the whole migration without anything from you other than permission to grab data from the old provider.

Hi you can export the JSM Project in the Current Cloud and import it to the another cloud.

Cloud to cloud migration you need to follow

https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/perform-a-cloud-to-cloud-migration-for-jira/

Er, they said "Data Center"

@Rajesh_Ramankutty thanks for the reply we are usin DC version hosted on somewhere in the cloud

@Saqib Dar  Same process  export the xml back up from old jira then import the same backup and select the project which you need to add in the new jira instance.

First try it in testing server then do it in the producation.
