I got a business requirement where I have to change the existing issue type and request type of email request in JSM jira project.
Whenever I am creating new channel, it's only giving few options in existing request type only. I have to select another request type and another issue type which is not being enabled.
It sounds like you need to firstly add the new issue type, to the issue type scheme of the Jira Service Management project in question - check out the project configuration.
Only then, will you be able to select the new issue type for email requests.
