.jks or .p12 format. (SSL certificate issues continued)

Mark Ward May 17, 2021

I have been battling configuring SSL on our Jira Service Management (JSM) for the better part of 2 weeks.  I have it up and running and I am able to connect via HTTP or HTTPS but I can't seem to figure out have to resolve the "Gadget feed issue" error.  As a last resort, I converted the SSL certificate from a .p12 format or .jks  which did not resolve the issue either.   However it did break the redirect function.  Now I only have the option to for an HTTPS connection.  Is there any harm in converting certificate key back to .p12 format while leaving the keystore formatted with jks.

Did you try importing your key pair into the server's default keystore? Should be one located at $JIRA_HOME\jre\lib\security called cacerts. PS, our keystore is in .jks format.
