I am looking for some detailed information about migration from Zendesk to Jira. I want to know if I can migrate all information about zendesk tickets ( ticket number, comments,category, reporter, assignee ,priority etc.). what are the steps involved before migration in order to do mirror match between these two systems?

there are other posts on this topic in the Community as well. You can search for them using the search bar. I believe you will be able to get the majority of fields and such to imports but not everything.

I was able to export the Jason file from zendesk but was looking for more details if I can migrate all information about zendesk tickets ( ticket number, comments,category, reporter, assignee ,priority etc.) or do I need to create category & priority all in advance in Jira prior to migration? Also, will it send the new ticket number to all those users who has created ticket in zendesk?
