Each time I close or update a ticket it says that another user has closed it. It is the main admin user, yet I am also a company admin.
Is there a setting I can use to change this to my name?
Hello @Simon Heaysman there would be a couple of things to check here since moving the ticket to a closed status won't necessarily mean that the ticket is closed for Jira unless the transition executed triggers the issue closed event. What could be happening is that you are transitioning the ticket to such status and then some automation executed by the other user triggers an issue closed event so the notification is sent with his mail.
Also, in order to receive notifications from yourself you need to change your settings since by default you don't get them. That could mean that two notifications are being sent but you only receive one.
