Hello folks!
I'm using standard Jira Service Desk Cloud functionality. When you click "Link issue" in the issue screen you can select the link type and search for issues.
1. Can anybody explain what is the logic behind this drop-down list of issues? Why some issues are not available in the search and can only be entered by the exact key?
2. Is it possible to configure this list, for example using JQL?

The suggestions in the link issue search of Jira displays all the recent issues you navigated. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change or customize the order or which issues should be suggested there, however, we have a feature request to allow this:
Ability to search for all the issue in Linked Issue section
Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
