Using smart values in combination with JIRA Insight Automation to set a value to an attribute

I am using Server JIRA and JIRA Insight.

I am trying to set an attribute value using smart values i.e. {{object.Name}} or the referenced value {{object.Domain.Name}} in the Automation section, but whatever I try, my attribute value is always "{{object.domain.Name}}" or "{{object.Name}}" - in other words, the smart value is not working and it is simply added as simple text.

Am I missing something here?

Looks like you are missing a Lookup action to pull values from the object scheme.

I have similar question. I'm trying to use insight automation and set smart value {{initiator.displayName}} to attribute and nothing happens. Only if I enter plain username as text it becomes jira-user.

Hi,

Can you give us an example of the smart value/object you are working on, or screenshot of the automation you need?
