Unreleased Affects versions are shown in requests on service desk, why?

I have set up our service desk, so that our customers can select an Affects version. (To pinpoint what version they are running, when they encounter a bug).

The Affects version field from Jira has been added to the specific request type where it is needed.

This works fine at first glance. But I have two issues.

1. Unreleased versions are shown

2. The versions are shown in the opposite order than the sorted order.

    2.1 Note that the versions are sorted as expected in the Affects version field on the                      service desk edit issue screen.

 

Is there any way to prevent unreleased versions to be shown, and maybe also fix the ordering?
