We have a Customer Service project in Jira Service Management project that is used by our customers to open requests. We want to be able to use sub-tasks in this project.
I am able to create the sub-task without any issues, but when I try to edit some of its fields (from the Edit button), I am unable to do it, because the field Customer Request Type has no match.
I tried to see if I could change the parameters in the Field Configuration Scheme, but it is not allowed for this field.
Any ideas on how I can succesfully edit a sub-task in a Customer Service project?
Hello!
Did you ever get to the bottom of this in the end? I'm running into the same problem and can't figure out how to fix it.
Thanks!
Hi,
I ended up using a normal type of ticket, instead of a subtask.
Didn't find a way to do it for sub-tasks.

Thanks Iana :)
I'd messed around with this a bit more yesterday afternoon and found a fix
Sub-tasks are now editable without an error.
Hope this helps!
