We are trying to set up a new domain email for Atlassian to send notifications from instead of the system default. I have configured SPF, DKIM, and MX records for the domain email but when we try to add the email to Notifications the system says "Could not verify ownership of the Domain"
What are we missing to set up notifications?
Hello @Ernest Cook,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Checking the details of your domain (the one from the email you are using here in community), I can see that it was verified, but on our https://domain-check.atlassian.com/ it shows that the DKIM records are missing and the SPF reached maximum recursive depth.
Did you follow the steps from the documentation below?
Please, check the details on your domain again, and once the domain-check.atlassian.com doesn’t show errors, you should be able to change the email address on the project.
Feel free to share screenshots with us, just make sure to hide private details.
Kind regards,
Angélica
This is how we have the DKIM set up on our primary hosted zone to set up the subdomain. Do we have to create a new hosted zone in AWS and get rid of the subdomain suffix for the DKIM to be recognized by Atlassian?

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Ernest.
In the first column, it’s necessary to add only s1._domainkey and s2._domainkey.
Please, remove the subdomain.com from both records for the validation to work properly.
