Is there any way to create a JIRA issue from a Slack message (I know this is possible - wait for the complete use case) and spawn it as a thread in Slack through which comments and approvals can be provided to the issue and close the JIRA issue post which we trigger an API call or an ansible action to automate administrative task via Slack and capture the response as part of the thread for the end user to track progress of the issue in Slack.
Goal - from the end user and approver stand point, we do not want them to go anywhere beyond Slack and JIRA is to validate and close an approval work flow and give the cue to Slack thread to proceed further with the execution. JIRA will also act as the audit and workflow orchestration trail. Let me know if this is possible and if yes, how this can be achieved?
