Ticket Delete & Project KEY change

All.

 

I need a help on 2 issues/tasks that needs to be performed in JIRA Service Desk

1. Delete the Junk Tickets without affecting configuration,Workflow,Users Details etc,

2. Change Project Key to diferent Name.

 

Please advice.

@sandeep kute,

  • not sure I know how you define JUNK and why you need to delete but that aside - simply create a JQL filter that 'defines' the junk issues and delete them using this filtered list. If the JUNK is something that can/will continue to occur then save the filter so you can use going forward.
  • Simply go to Project>Project settings>Details and edit the key. Re indexing will be required.

Thanks Jack. 

1. Junk means the tickets that i have created for testng workflow which we need to clean up so that Tool can be used for Live Tickets.

 

2. Does changing Project key will affect any other settings of the projects. I dont want any impact to workflow,Automation setup,User Mangment etc.
