I want to show the attachements of a task in JIRA Servicedesk Portal on the right sidebar and not only within the content is that possible?
Why I ask you:
When we create a task we drag n drop an attachement for e.g. a Quotation as PDF. In most cases my staff members forget to add the attachement additionally to content. The result is that a lot of customers call us and ask for the attachement. It's pointless because we use the ticket system to reduce the calls :-)

thank you for your answer. It's not the return I expected :-) but it's helpful to know that some other JIRA Users discussing this issue. I will vote for the feature.

When using Jira Service Desk, the only way for customers to see the attachments in the customer portal is if the image or file is added as a public comment.
Currently, it's not possible to customize the portal and the Attachments field in the issue view is only internal.
There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
