Service Disk wont installed

Deleted user February 10, 2020

I have remarked last time I want to upgrade our Jira-Server that JSD is in state "licensed but not installed".

  • Jira Service Desk 4.6.0
  • Jira Core 8.6.
  • Jira Software 8.6.0

What I have done until now to get rid of it (reading all the posts concerning this problem):

  • Raise system memory
  • Raise plugin timeout
  • Rename installed plugins
  • Delete plugin cache (osigi-plugins and bundled plugins)
  • Delete all Servicedesk and Jira-Servicedesk Plugins

Has any one an idea?

Hi Mike,

Thank you for replying. The log was not informative in this case. But I read again all posts concerning this issue and I realized that I had missed the hint regarding the SQL query and the disabled plugins:

SELECT * FROM pluginstate where pluginenabled = 'false';

I change the state of the JSD-Plugin and restart Jira. Then the issue was gone.

Are you seeing any error in the JIRA home /log/atlassian-jira.log when you install the add-on?
