Service Desk Custom Field Using Insight and Filters

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to filter a custom field from Insight Data. I can filter the custom field but I can't filter for the underlying data that is in Insight in that same table of information.  

For example, I have a table in Insight with Name, and 2 other attributes.

I use the custom field to pull the Name into the Jira project.  But I need to write reports and filters using the 2 associated attributes.

Are there any instructions or examples of how to do this?
