Self Help Menu in Customer Portal

Is there a way I can create a self help menu in the customer portal that allows poeple to navigate thorugh a self help menu before they get promted to create as task. Or have multiple questions leading up to the type of task being created?

I would suggest using a theme like refined.

This app allows you to customise your customer portal and I have used so many times in order to get the user to read the documentation first before asking for help.
