Removing time stamp in activity stream (JSM - Data Center)

Morten Dieckmann-Keden May 8, 2023

Hello,

We are currently looking into the possibility of using Jira Service Management in the Data Center version.

We have a question about the activity stream:
- Can the activity stream be disabled?
- Can the time of the change in the activity stream be removed?
- Is it possible to hide the timestamp in the activity stream?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Morten Dieckmann-Keden ,

If you're ok with using a 3rd party app, unView can hide the activity steam (and more).

Thanks,

Hi @Morten Dieckmann-Keden ,

You can try disabling the "Activity Stream Issue Tab Panel" module under "JIRA Activity Stream Plugin" (this is a system plugin under Manage Apps section).

If you use Scriptrunner plugin, you can try creating a Script Fragment under "Hide system or plugin UI element"

Since these are global changes, please try these in your staging environment first.

Thanks,
Aditya

Hi @Morten Dieckmann-Keden ,

Are you asking about the Activity section on the request details view on the portal?

This section cannot be modified. It's not possible to make any changes or hide some elements.
