I need to set up automation rule for Reminder mail to approver get notified and approve

 

possible pls share steps.

The same way could you please share the rule for mail notification.

Scenario ;

Ticket not updated more than 1 day - automate jira notification - to customer - 'pls update status of your request " with ticket number & summary of ticket

Here's how we do it. We send reminders on Tuesdays and Fridays for issues that have been in the Waiting for Approval status for more than 2 days. 

Automation simply clears the approvers and adds them back, which triggers the preconfigured notice again.

You can create rule as following:

It will send notification to approvers if their ticket is waiting in approval status for at least 3 days.

Few more things:

  • In trigger you may want to uncheck the option: "Only include issues that have changed since the last time this rule executed" to enable sending reminders every single day not only the first one
  • In trigger under "More options", depending on your requirements", you may want to check "Process all issues produced by this trigger in bulk" which will allow you to send e-mail in bulk about all waiting for approval issues at once.

Also is it possible to share the automation rule (the same way of screenshot) for comment to customer when Agent is on vacation.  Addressing Reporter - "I am at OOO . Please contact XXXXX"

If you have time pls share the rule for below

- If Reporter (Customer) update the comment to the ticket but agent not available. In that case JIRA automation comment, stating that "Pls contact XXX"
