Hi @Alex ,
This blog on how to clone and move jira issues might help. It covers how to clone and move with native options, Automation, and an app with the pros and cons of each option.
Hi @Alex,
Another option to clone and move issues, would be our Marketplace app Deep Clone for Jira.
These features may be of particular interest to you:
If you have questions or feedback about our app, don't hesitate to contact our support.

If it's what I think, you are getting a request in your service desk, and want to create a matching issue in your software project? If so, this is what we do.
1. Status to submit the ticket to the software project
2. Automation to clone the original request, then move the copy to the software project
3. We populate specific fields in the software project issue with some default information and we also link the 2 issues together.
Hope that helps. (This could also be done as a pure "move" rather than "Clone and move" function)

The following implementation is required.
The Jira Service desk receives a task where you need to do xxx and yyy.
Yyy is made by the team at Jira Software.
It is necessary to create a subtask in jira software from the jira service desk by clicking the button.
