Hey Guys,
we are currently using Jira Server Internal Directory. Some Reporters have more than one Mail Address and they use all of them to create tickets -> this leads to different reports, but it's the same person.
What want to do in general:
User = John Doe; Mail Addresses = john.doe@test.com; jdoe@test.com.....
This is possible in Cloud, but I think not in server.
How can we solve this? Is this possible with an external Directory?
Best,
Hannes
My thoughts are to use the "User Property Entity" feature and assign each customer account a property that identifies the primary username/email address. Then, when issues are created, change the reporter to the one listed as the primary one for that customer.
