Multiple Approvals Issue

I had created a work flow with APPROVAL option. I earlier chose minimum 2 Approver's for the workflow to move to "Approved" status. I have changed this to 1 Approver later. The Requests that were created earlier approved by 1 Approver still waiting for the 2nd approval? How do I avoid this?

Hi @Rangarajan Parthasarathy,

Are the earlier 2 Approvers were the transitions? If yes, while changing the workflow and on publishing, you should map the 2nd approval state to the correct state.

Please elaborate more on this if that is not the case.

@Rambabu Patina _Appfire_ the transition status remains the same when the workflow was updated. i.e. When the transition is APPROVED fully (both the approvers approving it) it goes to "Approved" status. In this case, I have a scenario I earlier had opted to have TWO approvers which I have now moved to have just ONE. So for all those requests that were raised and approved by ONE approver - will not the request to move to APPROVED status automatically?

If you changed the only transition from 1st approver to APPROVED, and the 2nd approver status still remains then it will not trigger a request to move to correct status. 

It would be helpful to understand more if you can attach screenshots of the workflow of the earlier one and after the changes.
