Hello Team,
How to link multiple Jira Standard Cloud instances when the software development team works in one Jira Cloud instance with its customized workflows and additional Marketplace add-ons, whereas the demand and stakeholder team works in another Jira Cloud instance with a different workflow and without additional add-ons.
And also, what are the limitations and challenges that needs to be addressed ?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Geetha
Hello @Kamala Geetha Francis Fernando
What are you trying to accomplish by linking the two instances?
Are the two instances/sites under the same Organization or different Organizations?
Are you a Site Administrator for both instances and/or an Organization Administrator?
@Kamala Geetha Francis Fernando hey there! If you're open to exploring 3rd party solutions - check the ZigiOps no-code connector. It's flexible & easy to use (connects the instances in minutes). You can customize ZigiOps to fit different use cases. The tool transfer & sync only the data you want (default fields (incident, task, bug, story, etc) + custom fields). It does not store any of the data transferred - which is great for data security. You can try ZigiOps via our Trial version (it's free).
Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)

Hi @Kamala Geetha Francis Fernando
This is Majid @ Exalate.
In order to sync data between two independent Jira instances, you will need to use a synchronization app such as Exalate. You can choose exactly what data to share and in what direction, and the integration should be fairly simple to setup as both sides are jira Cloud.
If you are interesting in watching the product in action, please feel free to join us here.
Thanks
Majid

Hi @Kamala Geetha Francis Fernando
If your goal is to synchronize two separate cloud instances, 3rd party sync apps might be a solution you are looking for: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/39038/deviniti
Those plugins can automatically create a mirrored issue in the second instance and copy over its data as field values, comments, attachments, or statuses. They also keep all the information in sync when something changes.
I'm part of the team behind Issue Sync Lite - a new, free app with a quick& easy configuration.
Best regards,
Kasia
