Licence - Test environment

Gernot November 14, 2017

Hi there,

We are using JIRA SD Server and are currently trying to set up a test environment as we are planning to implement some new features and add-ons.

We want to have a copy of our productive system and we are just wondering how this would work with a test / dev license.

Unfortuantely  wasn´t able to find any information with the search function.
Does anyone have a instruction how we could proceed?

Thanks for any comments,
Gernot

Hello,

You should get a developer license for the test environment. Go to your Atlassian account and choose Developer License link.

You can find more information here

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-get-a-jira-developer-license-744526918.html

It will work just fine with the developer license. You will have the same features as for the production license.

Hey @Alexey Matveev ,

to my understanding it is possible to create developer licences as long as I have valid production licences. Now is it still possible to use the test instance (when you have created it with valid licences obviously) after the licences expire?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

Merve
