Hi,
We currently have an AD domain (abc@x.net) where we create accounts for our customers to log on to Jira ad Confluence.
Our company is merging with another one and now the domain will be y.net.
Users will be migrated from abc@x.net to abc@y.net.
How should we proceed and how can we assure that the customers will still have access to their existing tickets?
Hi Wim,
you should proceed with consulting the admins of the Active Directory domain. Next you should test thoroughly on a non-prod environment.
Even if it looks it would be only the mail addresses that will change it will probably need some changes. It could even be a bigger deal when the setup is complex.
