Our organization has web based documentation for our full product line. This typically is installed on premise at our customer site or via the cloud. We would like to offer the documentation library as part of the search in Service Desk for customers to access when submitting a ticket without our technical writers having to maintain a separate copy in Confluence. Any options here? The web based help can be installed on the same server as Jira Service Desk.
The only information I have been able to find is related to using Confluence only.
Thanks
Hello @David welcome to the community. Unfortunately if your want to have the knowledge base behavior at JSD you must do it using Confluence
You can use an on-the-premises confluence server or Confluence-Cloud Knowledgebase for documentation. Once it is created and configured with the Jira Service project when the customer opens the Service desk customer portal for raising a new request Confluence documentation starts appearing.
