Keep being re-directed to the Help Center, can't get to the normal ticket view at all!
Our licenses need to be updated in the next few days and it is very important that we get the normal view back.
Please help restore the normal projects/ticket view.

This sounds almost like you don't have Jira access anymore and your user is currently only customer.

Try accessing <your-base-URL>/secure/admin/ApplicationAccess.jspa. If not working try it with a different admin user, and check if your user is in one of the groups giving Jira Access.

Might also try <your-base-URL>/browse/<issue-key> (for example https://www.example.com/jira/browse/test-1234 or https://jira.example.com/browse/test-1234) which should take you straight to your existing issue with a quick stop to authenticate if necessary.

Thanks Niklas, that suggestion worked, managed to get into the normal view using <your-base-URL>/secure/admin/ApplicationAccess.jspa link.
Rolled back the changed we made to the directories component, which sync's our AD users and we were back in!
