Jira Service Desk integration with Slack Edited

Hi! How can I integration Jira Service Desk with Slack. I need send a notification in Slack, when user to create issue in Jira Service Desk. Thanks.

Hello Everybody,

Just would like to give a quick update on this thread:

Today, Atlassian has two supported free apps to connect both Jira (Including Service Desk) and Slack, which can be configured to properly notify users on Slack when issues are created on Jira:

Jira Cloud for Slack (Official) 

Jira Server for Slack (Official)

Hi Andrey - We recently released a fully-featured integration between Slack and JSD customers with Cloud, Server and Data Center instances. 

HelpDesk+

It allows you to:

  • Create JSD issues from Slack with JSD customer accounts
  • Create JSD customers when on current user exists
  • Get notifications in channels when issues are created
  • Respond to support requests from Slack
  • Discuss issues with end users in threads
  • Create issues via emojis 
  • Approve JSD requests in Slack

have a look at this app - slack-jira-integration for cloud or this one - slack-connector-for-jira-server if on server.

note: i do not currently use either so only offering as a suggestion to try

It is working fine for us.

Hey there, Andrey! You could also use something like "Halp" or "obie.ai" so that users don't have to leave Slack to create tickets in JSD.
