Hello @Bhargavi ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What I can see from what you wrote, you created an instance of Jira DC onto a new server.  You populated the data with production data?

One of the system settings is the BASE URL.  Could it be that it's set to the base URL of your production system?

@Bhargavi -

Welcome to the community.  I agreed with what @Robert Wen_Cprime_ suggested.  When you setup your new server with a copy of the prod content, you need to ensure all configurations pointing to Prod env must be changed (Base URL is one of the main setup).  Other setups can include the Global Mail Settings etc..

Can you clarify what you means by "after few clicks, it redirects to Prod URL" - What exactly are your steps?  So, we can further assist...

Best, Joseph Chung Yin
