I have added few administrators to our JIRA service desk project as they need to monitor the queues and pull reports. However though they are added as administrators they still get routed to the service desk end-user page to submit requests but cannot view the queue. Am i missing any permission configuration here ?
Hi Abeesh,
Users must be in the Service Desk Team role and/or must be granted a service desk license in order to view the queues.

Hi Abeesh,
For an administrator to see all features of a Service Desk Project, they must have a jira-service-desk license and be added to the Administrator role in the project.
If they were added as an administrator on the project but they don't have a license, they won't be able to access anything.
Please, ask your site-admin to go to > Site administration > Users and check if those users were added to jira-service-desk group.
Regards,
Angélica

are they listed as customers for the project? if they are try removing from customer role. make sure the admin role they are in are in the Permissions to browse, etc.

Thank you all. It was indeed a licensing issue and was sorted out.
