My JSD complains a lot (!) regarding permissions:
Looking into the "requirements":
http://www.mos-eisley.dk/display/ATLASSIAN/JSD+Permissions+required
I really cant see the need for some of them, like
for the "Service Desk Customer - Portal Access" ....
And If I have a reopen Transition, JSD tells the user:
Even though the Transition has no user assignment at all. And the issue is assigned...
Should I just Accept the defaults? And if no, cant I get rid og the so annoying popup...
Me neither..... maybee some Css in the banner to kill the damn thing :-/
Yeah, i ve seen lots of complaints about this.. I dont want customers to delete anything, yet Jira complains if this is removed from the security...
I dont get it..

Nothing new there..... I was looking for real answers...
I actually would like to know the reasons behind the settings before applying them.
Im an 8 yrs expert in JIRA, have made countless workflows etc. And I never (!) give delete rights to anybody without a real good argumentable reason.

Your project is poorly configured.
You can get rid of the annoying popups by revisiting the project configuration. e.g give assign issues permission to the user attempting the reopen transition.
Follow the link and assign the required permissions even if you dont see the need for some of them :)
