JIRA - Check minimum number of characters while editing

HI,

Need some help, so i was able to check the minimum number (of 100) of characters when creating a ticket via post function validation. Is it possible to have a check (thru behaviour maybe) while editing the ticket?

Hi @Joel Batac

So what you want is basically a counter which counts backwards as you type in a field?

That would be nice but not necessary. I just need to make sure that the minimum number of characters is satisfied and gets check when you click Update

In that case I would use a validator with a groovy script to check the length of the text. Do you have any app installed like JMWE, JSU or scriptrunner?
