Is there a way to remove a component from an existing automation?

In editing an automation, I can move a component, but I can't figure out how to delete it. Or do I have to just start over and create a new automation?

I wish they would have called it a "block" instead of a component.  Same for the labels in the automation part of Jira.  Maybe they could have called it category.  Anyway, I searched on this for a while too, it is easy to overlook.  Once you click on the "block" (ahh, I mean component) then on the right where you modify the criteria, to the right of the large font describing the type of "block" is a gray trashcan to delete that "block" (whoops, component).

That is stupidly simple and stupidly difficult to find at the same time. And yeah, googling "component" found everything except what I was looking for.

In JSON format use this syntax:
{
"update": {
"components": [{
"remove": {"name": "Component_Name_To_Remove"}
}]
}
}
