Is there a way to add a tag function in Canned Responses in Service Desk?

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if there is a way to pull the name of the Reporter and also tag them, in Canned Responses?

For some users, this works, however, for others, it just displays: [~John] (just an example)

I noticed that if the reporter is coming up like: john.doe@email.com, it will tag them, and highlight them with blue.

If the report is coming up with their name, in the reporter field box, example: John Doe, the function will only display this: [~John]

I'd really like to be able to make canned answers, where it tags the reporter, regardless of the formal of the reporter(be it e-mail or full name).
