Hi everybody,
I would like to use the embed Jira Service Desk widget in my backoffice tool. To use my backoffice, my customers have to be connected. For strategic reason, my portal can't be opened.
If my customers are in totaly connected environment, why can't i use the widget with a closed portal ? Is there a solution ?
thanks to all
Anne
Hi Anne,
im not sure what you mean by closed portal. You should be able to add the widget to any webpage that can be accessed by your JSD customers.
Hi Jack
when I turn on the widget, I have the alert :
Customers can't see widgets unless they can send requests without logging in."
I don't want to turn on login-free portal because my datas are very confidential ad only for my customers.
do you have a solution
Anne

Ah, yes. You must set the project up for anonymous access. Try this article - set-up-an-open-portal

For the widget you must use anonymous access.
You might look at addons depending on your requirements.

Hi Jack,
Is this jira widget UI customizable?
Actually i want to put a form for the clients on my website to create a ticket on JSD directly (just like the email integration), but I want to use my own style guide. So, widget is not helpful.
Will appreciate some help here.

Has anybody figured out how to have a closed portal and still utilize the service widget?

There is no solution jet.
If he portal is not an open one, then it does not work. and if you have multiple portals, this is a no go, becuase on the overview every portal will then be visible.

Hi @Marta Kopij , what do you mean by the topic is "solved"? if you are referring to this post where someone accepted the answer that simply means that their question was answered. It does not mean that they got the answer that they wanted to hear. If you are referring to some other topic, could you please reference it here?
