Hello,

is the Discovery Agent scanning and sending the results after booting?

My client have Laptops, which are not always on the network or powered on. We would like to have as up-to-date data of these machines as possible.

Does the agent get active after booting and sending the data to Discovery on its own?

Hi @Stephan Hannach ,

Yes, Discovery agent will locally scan your devices after booting.

You should also notice there is a config file at Discovery local folder on your laptops, that there is information about the time the agent starts the scan. If the laptop is powered off at that scheduled time, the agent will start after booting.
