Is it possible to create a Proforma form with Drop-Down populated with Insight objects?

Hi all,

As part of a complex project, we want to use both Proforma and Insight.

Insight contains CMDB assets, which we want to expose to Proforma forms as Drop-Down choices.

1) As of today Insight fields are not available in forms - "Integration with Insight fields is in development."

2) We will investigate the option to add Insight as Proforma Data Connection.

Have anyone succeeded to do such integration?
