We are in the process of launching our JSM and found out that our biggest customer uses JSM as well for generating the issues that are then sent to us. When they arrive at our end they get interpreted by a series of automations to get all the information we need.
Is there a smarter way to do it as we are using the same system? Like integrating them in some way?
Hi @Olof Nysten,
JSM has a REST API you can use to set up integrations. Obviously, that may imply quite a bit of development, so there are several solutions available in the marketplace that support synchronisation between Jira instances.
Have a look at this list to get a first idea of existing options.
Definitely consider how far you would like to go in this type of synchronisation. An obvious first step is creating a ticket in the other Jira, but very soon you will probably want to sync status updates, comments, ... as well. Take those requirements into account when evaluating your options.
