Incoming mail to Service Desk do not support html

We are using JIRA Service Desk, and do get all of our support issues by mail.
This is working fine.

But, if the email is html formatted, with tables, inline images etc, these are not displayed properly in the system.
It is stripped away, and JSD just displays the plain text.

This is quite annoying, has any one any suggestion to how this can be fixed?
I've attached to images; one of how the email is rendered by JSD and one of how the actual message is formated.

However, Suggestion ticket here at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-1942 is available.

You can add yourself as a watcher to this ticket and get the future updates.

Hi can you let us know what is your SD version and JIRA version and paste a sample of your email here please?
