I would need a way to automatically remove (or not to add) any watchers from the issue that is being created by the automation task.

I have this automation task, that is creating issue from conditions on one project into another.

Problem is that when automation crates this new linked issue, it will also always add me as watcher. I don't want that.

I assume that removal of the watcher needs to happed in that same script where it is also giving value for this customfield.

Hi @marek_uschanov

Have you try to change the preference in your profile ?

Profile > Preferences > Autowatch > Disabled.

You could also add a branch after your issue create action.

Branch on Most Recently created issue then Action Manage watcher and check Remove all existing watchers.

Hi, Changing preferences worked. Downside is that it obviously now applies to all issues, not just ones created by automation.

Branching on this case does not work as I cant set up automations to consider that other project where this new issue is getting created to.

Is there no way to do that on JSON script when creating that new issue?

If it's multiple project you could add both to the automation scope and add a condition at the beginning of the automation to make sure it do not trigger on the second project.

I do not think there is any way to do it in the json. Because it's not directly store in the payload.
