How to change the default from public to internal comment

Hello,

when we write comments in the screenmask from changing the status or linking operations the default is always on public comment. We are on server with our Jira.

How can I change it?

Thank you,

many greetings

Hi @Alexander Herrler

Out of the box this cannot be changed there is a Change request open for this:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-1733

I suggest reading through that issue for workarround (use at your own risk)

There is an app available that sort of does it but (imho) it is a hefty price for just this feature.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217337/doublecheck-for-jira-service-desk?tab=overview&hosting=server

Thanks for your answer. On the test-Jira it works.

I will try it.

Hi Alex and Dirk,

I am from the Doublecheck team, just wanted to let you know that with the app you can indeed change the default comment setting from public to internal. We appreciate you considering our product.
