How to change custom filed value by the action of reporter?

Hi.

I'v made form for hiring people.

The form is being filled by hiring manager and ticket is created. 

There is on the form one custom field which I need to be filled by someone form HR (hiring manager do not have knowledge about that what I need to be filled in that  custom field).

I would like  the value of this custom field could be filled or updated by some kind of automation by someone from HR.

How to make some action on the created ticket, so the HR could give me some data, and those data could update the custom field?

Maybe there is some kind of plugin which enables such action?

You can do this using Automation, amongst other Apps, but you'd need a trigger.

What is the trigger in this case? And how is it easier than the HR user just editing the field directly?

Hi. Thanks for response - I've found solution by means of Actions for Jira.

"how is it easier than the HR user just editing the field directly?" - Person from HR isn't a agent so cannot view tickets from agents perspective, so cant edit that field.
