When we change the status of the ticket to resolve, A close issue screen will be displayed where we have to choose the resolution type. By default there are some drop down option but I want to add some more option in the resolution type drop-down. Kindly assist.

You'll need Jira Product Admin access. You'll need to access the admin issues page. There you will find the resolutions page where you can add resolutions.
