Hey guys,
it is possible to add external users to our internal service desk?
As an example:
We've got an external service contractor which is responsible for our printer.
A service desk employee adds a new ticket with a hardware problem with a printer.
He is going to open a case in an email (outlook) for our service contractor.
He wants to add the conversation and the reply from the service contractor into the ticket.
The goal is to implement the conversation into the ticket and give the external service contractor temporary write/change rights to have a conversation with us.
Within the ticket menu is a share button - but the target destination has to create a jira user with a password to use is.
Is there a way without creating an account as an external?
You should be able to add the user as a customer and share the issue with them.
We often have questions from folks using Jira Service Management about the benefits to using Premium. Check out this video to learn how you can unlock even more value in our Premium plan. &nb...
