How to add dynamic forms to Jira sevice management(data center)??

Hello! I want tu use dynamic forms (some fields are hidden or shown depending on the value of another field) on jira service management(data center) but it doesn't come natively. I want to purchase a licence so i was wondering if by doing so i'll have access to that functionality or will i have to buy a seperate plugin??

You require an app for this. Look at the apps that are available for this on the Atlassian Marketplace and if this required function is available in the app.

You can look at the following apps

• proforma-forms-checklist -> Atlassian bought this app, this is integrated in Cloud (so if you want move to cloud later on, this will probably help)
• dynamic-forms

Yes, app cost extra.

There are apps that are free, but most apps aren't.

Be aware if you do want to invest in an app, the app license tier has to match the tier of you product

Ok thank you @Marc Koppelaar  one last question.

I saw that it was possible to develop our own plugin using the atlassian sdk. Can that be done to create our own forms and install in on our jira instance??

Yes, you could develop you own app, but be aware the for each version update or patch you install, you would need to see if your app still works.
