How does Jira Service Desk Automation communicate with Ansible Tower

Hi,
I am trying to set up my jira Service Desk to communicate with Ansible Tower. Have been trying to send an API Post to my Ansible Tower to no avail. The event gets triggered but there is no registered log in the Ansible Tower. Am trying to establish a connection between the Jira Service Desk and the Ansible Tower.
Primarily concerned if there is any authentication or credential posting required in the custom payload or the header.
