We have 2 Jira implementations. Jira Service Desk and the standard Jira v8.2.3 application. Access is governed by Active Directory but users are provisioned into groups with access to either Service Desk or the standard product.
Since implementing Jira Service Desk, the default page all users without the correct group assignment are redirected to is the Service Desk Help Center page which is not the behavior we would like.
Users navigating to the Jira Service Desk login page and attempting to login but not in the correct group should be redirected back to the login page with a login failure message.
Similarly, users navigating to the standard Jira application login page and not in the correct group should be redirected back to the System Dashboard / login page with a login failure message. This was the behavior until we implemented Service Desk
Does anyone know what might have caused this change to happen? Is there a way we can implement the desired behavior?
