Having some issues removing the time tracking fields (Time Spent, Date Started, remaining estimate, etc) from a resolution screen.
I've created a custom screen with only 2 fields (resolution and comment). I've verified this is the screen being used, I've even gone so far as to hide all time tracking in field configurations and yet they're still present.
Is there something else that I'm overlooking as to where my screen is pulling these from?
Hi @Jonathan Ludwig, can you provide some screenshots so we can see more about what you mean?
It sounds like you have multiple "Resolution" screens and maybe one or more of your workflows is referencing the wrong screen. Here's how to check:
1. Go to one of your problem workflows and look for the transition that pops up the resolution screen in question. The transition may be called "Resolve Issue" or it may be in the list of transitions for the "Resolve" or "Closed" statuses.
2. Once you've identified the possible transition(s), look for the "Screen" being used directly below the transition diagram. In my screenshot example, I'm using the default screen, called "Resolve Issue Screen" that comes with a fresh Jira install. You may need to change this screen to your custom one instead.
3. Change the associated screen by clicking the "Edit" button at the top right and changing the value in the field labeled "Transition View."
Or, maybe you are talking about another area of Jira. If the above doesn't help, give us more info and we'll try again!

Hi Rachel,
I've confirmed that I"m using the correct resolution screen.
Here's a screenshot of the screen itself
All of the stuff at the top is what I need to remove. My support staff shouldn't be able to modify/add time.
This is the screen config:

Ha. Nevermind! I thought I needed to Log Work field for the comment section. Apparently you don't! This is resolved.
