I'd like to refer to the following topics;
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-10908 & https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/How-hide-share-button-at-portal/qaq-p/1018821
We offer various services with different Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our customers. When a new change (we use forms) is submitted via the portal, an automation rule checks the organization field of the customer and applies a specific label or tag. After the tag is applied, the corresponding SLA is enforced.
I understand that sharing can be set to default, which we have implemented. However, we've observed that some users occasionally opt not to share it with their organization. Consequently, the organization field remains empty, no labels are applied, and no SLA is enforced.
I would like to request a practical solution to this issue, by just.. Simply hiding it! Rather than having to create an increasing number of automation rules and JQL queries due to the limitations of built-in solutions and configurations.
Unfortunately this is one of the many highly requested and highly ignored feature requests. Feel free to add your vote in the hopes that Atlassian starts looking at their Jira instance: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-10908
