Hello everyone. I am using Insights as an app in Jira. I can fetch objects or info on object from the following endpoint: https://insight-api.riada.io/rest/insight/1.0/object/<id> But here we can retriece info about an object by using only its unique key. My question is can we get info about an object using the label or name of the object instead of the key using REST api like above? Please let me know. Thanks a lot in advance.
Hello,
If you don't have the ID of the Object, then you can use advanced search API call via /rest/insight/1.0/object/navlist/iql
You will find a JSON example on following page in Find objects (Advanced) section: https://documentation.mindville.com/display/INSCLOUD/REST+API+-+Objects
IQL is the Insight Query Language which will help you to find the Objects by filtering according to their attributes (label/name etc.). For more details please refer to: https://documentation.mindville.com/display/INSCLOUD/IQL

Possibly let us know what happened to Cloud API documentation for Insight? The link https://documentation.mindville.com/display/INSCLOUD/REST+API+-+Objects opens "Insight Apps" Atlassian Support page, and searching for API gives no results. https://confluence.atlassian.com/search/?query=API&productName=Atlassian+Support&productVersion=Cloud
Cheers
Marcin
